|Join us at we kick-off Hometown Tourist Month!According to the 2011 University of Louisville’s Urban Studies Institute study commissioned by the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau nearly 72 percent of visitors came to Louisville for leisure travel with over 5 million visiting friends and family.
Louisville’s Hometown Tourist Celebration (May 6 to 31), has been encouraging those friends and family – YOU – to “be a tourist in their own hometown” for more than a decade.
During the month, deep discounts at 55 area attractions, 15 hotels and 14 restaurants are valid for anyone with a Kentucky or Indiana ID, local college ID or military ID. For a complete list of participating attractions and discounts visit www.gotolouisville.com/hometowntourist.
