This weekend is the 2nd Annual Eagle 5k Run/Walk. Tomorrow, June 4th, is the last day for online and early registration. After June 4th the registration fee increases $10 and the only way you can register is at Fleet Feet Sports, 2239 Taylorsville Rd. June 5th through packet pickup on June 7th. You can also register the morning of the race at St. Aloysius.

This fun race takes place in Pewee Valley and can boast a flat and fast course. There’s also a picnic after the race later that day. Best of all, your entry fee gets you a moisture wicking, technical fabric shirt.

Eagle 5k Run/Walk

Saturday, June 8th at 8:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church in Pewee Valley, KY

The Eagle 5k is the kick-off event for the St. Aloysius Parish Picnic. This unique road event course takes you through the shady and historic Pewee Valley Kentucky. Most of the course is relatively flat and fast. All age groups get a prize that can be used at the picnic booths later during the day and evening. Come out and enjoy this race that is for the serious runners as well as the family walking groups.

Cash awards for the top three overall and top three in each age group.

Free moisture wicking, technical fabric shirts with entry.

Powered with Pride 5k Run/Walk

The inaugural Powered with Pride 5K run/walk will be held in Louisville’s Cherokee Park at 8am on Saturday, June 15, 2013.

Louisville’s GLBT and supporting communities have been long enough without such a healthy, unifying and visible endeavor. Powered with Pride seeks to build a strong sense of physical and mental wellness thorough our flagship 5K run/walk, pre-event training sessions, post-race celebrations, and active involvement of partner/sponsor organizations. In essence, Powered with Pride seeks to serve as unifying point of pride celebrating the many positive aspects of our great community. Join the journey!

Run for The Health of It 5k Run/Walk

Saturday, June 15th at 8:00 a.m. in Bardstown, KY

Get away and take the short drive to Bardstown KY on a sunny Saturday for the Run for the Health of It 5k Run/Walk. Great course, winding through historic Bardstown and local neighborhoods. Stay after the race and enjoy breakfast in anyone of the cute little restaurants in the city square.

Indatus 5k Run/Walk

Saturday, June 29th at 8:00 a.m. in Iroquois Park

This will be the second year for the Indatus 5k Run/Walk to benefit Family Scholar House. Last year, more than 500 runner’s and walker’s participated to raise money for Family Scholar House.

The first 500 entrants will receive a free technical fabric shirt.

Dr. Ed Morgan/Kiwanis Grand Slam 4 Mile Run/Walk

Saturday, July 27th at 8:00 a.m. behind Louisville Slugger Field

Start on "Home Plate" at Slugger Field, round the "Bases" (miles 1, 2, and 3) and race for "Home Plate" Back at Slugger Field. Registrants will receive a Grand Slam 4 Mile race t-shirt (only pre-registered by Monday, July 18th will be guaranteed a shirt on race day) and one ticket to the Bats game against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Rail Riders (the NY Yankees affiliate) at 6:05 p.m. that evening. Runners may purchase additional tickets for just $3.00.
